A casino stop at the state line

Primm is about 40 minutes and about 40 miles south of Las Vegas on paved I-15, at the Nevada–California line. That is a planning number for a dry day, not live traffic. What you actually see is a casino stop where you can gamble. Some older attractions have closed, and the town is quieter than it used to be.

Combine this

Times below are planning figures. Conditions change. A north stop and a south stop do not belong in the same day. The return drive eats it.

The short I-15 start, not the Laughlin day. Seven Magic Mountains is about 20 to 25 minutes and about 20 miles. Primm is about 40 minutes and about 40 miles, at the state line. The two can share a short outing, in either order. Goodsprings is a short detour near Jean if you want the saloon. It is not the same highway the whole way. Baker is the longer drive down this interstate.
